Taking your team to new heights requires a highly unique, hands-on professional development experience. On an Outward Bound expedition, you’ll go beyond the typical boardroom training to gain real experience working as a team and uncover truly transformational insights.
Your team will develop new perspectives and have important conversations that can only be achieved while sitting around a campfire or paddling a raft. You’ll grow personally and professionally. Better yet – you'll have a ton of fun doing it!

Rocky Mountain High Ropes Course Weekend
Visit our Base Camp in Leadville, Colorado for a weekend of team building outdoors.
Itinerary
Day 1:
Team Building Initiatives: Learn to effectively problem-solve with your team and build confidence as a group.
Daily Debrief: Engage in guided group conversations to debrief the activity and identify key takeaways that can be applied to the workplace.
Evening Bonfire: Bond as a group over the campfire – S'mores included!
Day 2:
Walk in the Woods: Take a short walk in the woods to the high ropes course.
High Ropes Course Initiatives: Participants are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones to build confidence and trust as a team.
Closing Circle: The group will discuss lessons learned and how they can be applied in a work setting.
Moab Utah Rafting Expedition
Raft world-renowned rapids and take in the natural beauty of Utah's red rock canyons. Camp along sandy shores and spot shooting stars. Every day on this expedition will be a chance to build leadership skills, practice teamwork, and bond as a group.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Course Start: intro to course area and river safety. Prepare boats and learn to camp.
Day 2-3: Intro to Rafting: learn paddling techniques and how to read the river in a six-person raft. Learn desert ecology and human history of the region. Possible day hikes to explore ancient dwellings and rock art.
Day 4-5: Leadership while Rafting: learn to be the captain of your boat and be a leader in river navigation. Potential for a solo experience and a group final challenge event.
Day 6: Course end ceremonies and transportation home.
Your Outdoor Classroom in Colorado or Utah
Your classroom will be the Colorado Rocky Mountains or Utah's canyon country. Stay indoors and learn outside at our Base Camp in Leadville, Colorado. Or embark on a camping adventure. Every program is catered to the needs and capabilities of all participants. We offer a variety of activities including ropes course facilitation, hiking, climbing, rafting, canyoneering, and skiing.
