Why corporate giving matters

Each year, thousands of youth come to the Colorado Outward Bound School to discover more about who they are and all that they can become. 

Corporate partners are the lynchpin in growing and expanding our reach, especially in the Colorado community with students who need it most. 

Together, we create partnerships that directly impact our students and align with the goals of your company to build stronger, more thoughtful leaders in your organization, engage employees at a deeper level, and participate as community stewards. 

Corporate partners contributing at $25,000 and up may bring their own teams out for a custom team-building program with COBS.

We love when our partners experience the same growth and challenge that our students do and take those lessons back to the office, home and their families. 

How your support impacts students

The wilderness is for everyone. Support our scholarship and gear programs to make sure access to transformation in the wild isn't limited by economics or geography. 

• $50,000

Launch a ripple effect. Underwrite our annual fundraiser, the Black Tie & Tennis Shoes gala. This is our critical annual cultivation event; multiply your impact by bolstering our work to engage new supporters in our mission to change lives through challenge and discovery. 

• $25,000

Help kids get started. Support a classroom of students for their first multiday experience in the outdoors, growing and discovering what they are capable of as individuals and as a team. 

• $10,000

Prepare for the possible. Sometimes it rains, sometimes it shines. Make sure students have the rain gear, sleeping bags, camp kitchen, and more to stay warm and dry and ready for whatever comes next on course. 

Corporate partners may contribute through grant-making, direct donations, or as sponsors for our Rockies to Rivers gala.
